Who writes this, and how

meta-ads.si is a free reference for people who run Facebook and Instagram ads. Each page answers one question you would actually type, in plain English, with a short answer first and the detail after.

Where the answers come from

Every fact about how Meta's ads work comes from Meta's own pages: the Business Help Centre, the developer documentation, the Transparency Centre and Meta's newsroom. Each entry lists its pages under Sources, with the date we checked them, and every entry cites at least one Meta page.

Two other kinds of source are allowed, and each is labelled on the page. The history pages also use Meta's own filings with the US securities regulator. The regional and industry pages also use laws and rules published by governments, the EU and advertising regulators. We never cite blogs, news sites, agencies or forums.

If we cannot find a primary source for a sentence, the sentence does not go in. Terms Meta does not define, such as break-even ROAS, are labelled as industry terms.

Strategies, and what "advertiser method" means

Meta does not publish a rulebook for how to run ads well. So every strategy page carries a label. Documented by Meta means the steps come from Meta's own documentation. Advertiser method means the mechanics come from Meta's documentation but the method itself is common practice, so test it on your own account. Retired means it no longer works or no longer exists, and the page says what replaced it. We do not quote benchmark numbers we cannot source.

Editorial accountability

The editorial contact below is responsible for receiving correction reports. Contributor identities are not published, and the site does not claim review by a named credentialed expert. Check the linked primary sources when a decision affects your budget, account access or compliance.

How pages are made

Pages are drafted with AI. Then every factual sentence is checked against the source it cites, and anything a source does not support is cut. The "Checked" date on a page is the day that check last ran. Meta changes its products often. The source dates record the checks completed, not a promise that every page has been rechecked since. The update log distinguishes editorial corrections from new source checks.

Sponsored notes

This site is maintained in connection with Bach.ai, the product promoted in its Sponsored notes. Those notes are advertising. Further reading may also link to the product publisher’s articles; these are supplementary explanations, not the primary sources used to establish platform rules. You can use every answer and calculator without buying a product.

Commercial links do not establish whether a claim is true. Platform mechanics must be supported by the listed primary sources; advertiser methods are labeled separately. We do not claim that the library is independent of the promoted product.

Found a mistake?

Email vs8120169@gmail.com with the page address and what is wrong. We compare the report with the cited source, correct confirmed errors and record substantive changes in the update log. Source-check dates change only when those sources are checked again.
